AEGEE-Ljubljana decided to join in on the celebration of European day of languages, an all-european AEGEE event, supported by the Council of Europe.
We decided to organize a language street: 6 caffees in one street were dedicated to one language each. In each one of the caffees, we posted some photos of the country where the language is spoken, we made posters with the most typical words / phrases in that language and posted them on the walls.
Also, twice each day, once in the morning (11 am) and once in the afternoon (17 pm) we had language courses. The teachers were from language school Zavod ŠOLT. The lectures included basic words / phrases of that language. We were trying to make it very relaxed, kind of a language caffee, people drinking coffee and learning a language ... :)
And we made it :) As you can see from the photos and the videos, people loved the languages... even enough to sing :)
The we decided we can do better than this ..... :)
